Points To Note Hydraulic Hose Used In Hydraulic System
1. Task pressure
When choose, max task pressure of hydraulic hose and fitting should be no less than max task pressure of system. Pulse pressure or peak pressure in the system must be less than or equal to the hose assembly task pressure.
2. Experimental pressure
The experiment is carried in ambient temperature with water or other suitable material and hydraulic hose (assembly) should keep no leak, no pressure drop under 2 times of task pressure 30-60 seconds. Doing this experiment is according to ISO1402 standard.
3. Burst pressure
Burst pressure is at least 4 times of hydraulic hose’s working pressure (nowadays, most companies design based on 4 times to manufacture), but the burst pressure just be used in test when manufacture, it is not a standard when choose.
4. Fluid compatibility
Hydraulic hose assembly should have a good chemical compatibility with the fluid transported, otherwise it will make hydraulic system break down or hydraulic hose lose efficacy.
5. Storage for hydraulic hose and fitting
To make sure hydraulic hose is used in effective period, it is better to build a system to record. In Germany storage hydraulic hose and assembly should obey DIN20066:2002-10 standard. Choose hydraulic hose and assembly in 4 years (start from date of manufacture). From date of manufacture, using time of hydraulic hose should not be over than 6 years and in this 6 years storage time should not be over than 2 years.
